Welcome

This is a page dedicated to the game "Alessa in Wonderland" which was made from December 2009 - April 2010 for the contest, Game for Girls (G4G), held by the University of Illinois. The Games 4 Girls Competition is a competition where teams of up to five college women create computer games specifically designed to be fun for middle or high school age women. This game is made by a team of University of Waterloo students (team list in about).

The game was well received in the competition and has won the first prize for the competition in 2010.

A description of the game is as follows: "In this game, you will play the character of Alessa, a quiet, average high school girl who one day has visions of a world in peril and is suddenly summoned away from her home to rescue this world. As she follows her journey, she meets many new friends and learns many new things about herself, all while growing as a person - and most importantly rescuing her prince charming in the end!"
